Rugby Canada and HSBC Canada Sevens are aware of the revised orders issued by the BC provincial health officer to address rising COVID-19 case counts and keep people safe.

The new measures are in place until January 31, 2022, and do not currently impact the HSBC Canada Sevens at BC Place scheduled for Feb 26-27. At this time, all purchased tickets and hospitality suites remain valid as sold. We will make capacity adjustments as required and in accordance with provincial health regulations in effect for our event dates, which may include limiting future sales at BC Place to 50% of capacity.

Rugby Canada will continue dialogue with our event and government partners and will have another update in January. We thank all partners and supporters of HSBC Canada Sevens for their understanding as we work through further pandemic uncertainty. If safe to do so, the tournament will make all efforts for a fully attended event to be held at BC Place in February!
